1st International MRE Workshop & 1st BIOQIC Day

Charite’ is organizing the 1st International MRE Workshop & 1st BIOQIC Day.  This event is the very first MRE workshop independently organized by members of the MRE study group of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM)* in conjunction with the first BIOQIC student day.

*(Please note the ISMRM does not accept or assume any liability for this workshop as this workshop is not supported or organized by the ISMRM.)

The MRE workshop will take place on 28th and 29th of September, 2017, at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin, Germany. Its focus will be on biophysical foundations, clinical needs, research promises and technical solutions in MR elastography. It will give an overview of state-of-the-art (pre)clinical MRE, discuss its clinical relevance and explore future directions. The workshop will contain keynote sessions as well as short oral presentations and poster presentations. Importantly, the program of the annual symposium of the new research training group BIOQIC – Biophysical and Quantitative Medical Imaging towards Clinical Diagnosis – which is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) will be complemented by this workshop. In fact, we organize a special BIOQIC student day prior to our MRE workshop on 27th of September which will be focused on quantitative clinical imaging techniques by ultrasound, PET/SPECT, MRI and CT. You are all very welcome to join this special BIOQIC day in advance to the MRE workshop!
